Our beautiful little angel, Addie, was the youngest of three girls. She has two older sisters, Gracie and Laney, who were very excited for her arrival. Addie weighed 7lbs 3 oz. at birth and she resembled her sisters more than can be imagined. She was absolutely perfect! Addie was named after her Great-Grandmother, Kathryn, who passed away in August of 2005.
For 37 weeks, I carried Addie and we formed that special bond. She was a very active baby and when I realized there wasn't any movement, I knew deep down that something was wrong. We were so anxious to bring her home. Our lives have been forever changed and our hearts have been scarred. I continue to find faith in God and I truly believe that He needed a special little angel in heaven. I am proud that she is my daughter.
I miss her terribly.....and love her even more.

Gracie and Laney were very involved in my pregnancy. They enjoyed talking and singing to her each and every day. Laney would come up to my belly and say "Hi Baby" and "Baby Come Home". Gracie insisted we would name her "Tuna". I welcomed the idea of her giving Addie that nickname and to this day, she refers to Addie exactly as that.
For Gracie's fourth birthday, I planned a Princess themed party. I asked her one day, about a month before her birthday, if she wanted me to make her a special princess cake. I was so surprised by her answer. Without hesitation, she told me she wanted an "Angel Cake". For that entire month preceeding her day, she reassured me that she wanted an Angel Addie cake. To fulfill her wish, I ordered a beautiful Precious Moments figurine called "Always By Your Side" to use as a cake topper. The figurine was a little girl sitting with her guardian angel standing behind her. I had a local grocery store decorate the cake with cascading roses and wildflowers. And without planning and asking, a wonderful priest, Father Mark Honhart, blessed the figurine. Not only was it the most beautiful cake I have ever seen, but it was the most special.
I also purchased the same figurine for Laney and it, too, was blessed by Father Mark.

Addie is truly Gracie and Laney's guardian angel. I know she is with all of us each day, but she is especially with her sisters. We all miss her so much. The pain is so deep and our love for her is so strong.
